I have told our readers before that for the longest time I could not stand the smell let alone the taste of coffee of any kind. Then after I had children I found myself drawn to coffee each morning. Now I’m not a hard core coffee addict that can not function without a cup of coffee each day but I do have a large cup (24 oz I think it is?) that I drink every morning before I do anything. Ok maybe I am an addict haha.
I prefer iced coffee but will enjoy an occasional cup of fresh, hot coffee too. I knew at one time that you could only purchase Gevalia Kaffe coffee online to get it in the US but now we can get it at the local super stores and grocery stores. There are 46 Gevalia Kaffe coffee flavors to choose from online and 10 that we can find in stores. I will be on the lookout for these little yellow bags at the stores so I can try the Chocolate Mocha next. I had the Gevalia House Blend & French Roast flavors delivered to the house a couple weeks ago from Kraft Foods.
Gevalia Kaffe coffee really is smooth, it’s not just print on the package. Both the French Roast and House Blend coffees are nice flavors- not too strong but strong enough to give it an original flavor comparable to an European coffee. The Gevalia coffees while they are wonderful fresh brewed I found a way that I enjoy them even more… Gevalia iced coffee.
Make your own iced coffee:
Brew your coffee of choice (Gevalia French Roast for me). You can make it by the cup or pot. Once the coffee is made let it cool and then refrigerate it for a couple hours. You could pour the hot coffee over ice but blech it does not taste all that good. Take a big mug or tall glass and fill it with ice. Fill your container about half of coffee. Then add your milk or half and half or creamer of choice, just a spalsh or 2 or 5 or 6 depending on what you like. Then add sugar to your coffee mix however much makes it sweet enough for ya. If you have vanilla or hazelnut syrup on hand you can drizzle that in as well. I add a squeeze of chocolate syrup to mine, what ever cranks yer tractor. Stir it all up and sip and enjoy or pour it all in a blender and blend til smooth and add some cool whip on top.
Whether you enjoy your coffee hot from the pot or on ice you should give Gevalia Kaffe coffee a try. I have a friend who uses the Gevalia French Roast ground coffee in her Keurig and enjoys it very much if you have one of those fancy coffee machines.
Have you tried the Gevalia coffee? How do you enjoy your cup of joe each day?

I love coffee, too. Although, I’ve never tried this one. I’ll have to look into it though.
I think around here the Gevalia is about $6-$8 a bag?

i make coffee every day for work. To make it taste yummy, put the ice in a glass, then pour your coffee over it. then add your milk and sugar. then get another (preferably tall glass) and pour from one cup to the next. hand shaken, fresh and yummy!
or at home i put ice into a pitcher, then add my coffee then stir it to mix up the ice and coffee. then i put milk (soy) into a glass filled with ice and pour the iced coffee into it. Put the rest in the fridge for laters.
